Social media tools, built by a fully remote team with an open culture.
Fully remote describes a working arrangement without required office attendance; remote-first describes how a company organizes communication and decisions around distributed work. Neither label alone guarantees freedom from mandatory retreats or client travel. This collection records employers with full-time remote or optional-office policies: travel requirements remain role-dependent and must be checked with the employer. A remote-first company can keep optional offices, and a fully remote role can exist inside an office-led business.

It is a role at an employer that designs normal work around distributed participation. Check whether the employer-wide policy applies to your role, alongside location, overlap hours and any travel requirements.
Remote-first means distributed work is the normal operating model: communication, documentation and decisions must work for people outside an office. It does not automatically mean every country is eligible or that travel is never required.
Remote work is a real working arrangement, but a remote label does not establish that a vacancy is authentic. Follow the company’s own careers page, check the application domain and confirm the employer before sharing information. A directory entry does not guarantee a job offer.
Remote-first is a working policy, not a pay scale. Compare the role, seniority, employment country, published salary range and benefits. Employers may use geographic salary bands or a shared pay framework; ask which applies to your offer.
